Happy New Year!
Just a short note to say that I am unable to update my blog frequently these days, as I'm busy baking Christmas cookies (above), enjoying saunas and hugging snowy trees in Viru bog on the Northern coast of Estonia (below). I'll be back in the new year to tell you all about the copious Christmas eating and cooking, and will try to answer all those memes I have been tagged for during the last month or so.
Thanks to all of you who have made keeping this blog so enjoyable during the last 6 months. I hope you will continue to come back next year!
Head vana-aasta lõppu ja toredat uut aastat!!!

Cheers from Budapest, Zsofi
Dearest Pille, have a wonderful holiday - I absolutely adore the photo showing you when hugging the snowy tree - and stay as happy as you look in this photo. All the best, kindest regards from a very truthful visitor of your site to a VERY truthful commentor on my blog, thank you !!!
Happy New Year, Pille. And I'm glad to know I'm not the only tree hugger!
May you have a wonderful year, full of marvelous surprises.
Very happy new year to you Pille.
Have a wonderful time in your family!
Happy New Year!! I really enjoy reading your blog. You have some really creative concoctions. :)
Happy New Year, Pille. This is my first comment, but I've been reading your blog since 2-3months ago. I 'found' you from links of links, but I decided to bookmark your blog because it's personal, original and inspiring. I wish I have that energy and time to do all the cookings, but I'm more a true eater :-) I love food. I visited many other blogs on your list, and they all, including you, are very good in making me hungry. I just imagined all those food on my table and am ready to eat them. Wonderful! Good job and continue a good spirit...you're a good writer too.
A hello from France :-) Take care and may all your wishes and resolutions come true in 2006. Ciao...
hi pille, what beautiful cookies! happy new year to you and your loved ones. looking forward to reading all about your trip...
Rõõmu ja õnne uueks aastaks Pille!!!
Happy New Year ! Have a good time home with your family.
Happy New Year, Pille! Your Christmas cookies look delicious!
Hi Pille, cute picture! Im jealous that you are enjoying saunas. All the best to you for 2006!
Paz - thanks and I'm glad you like the pics. It's been a real pleasure "talking" to you over the last few months!
Zsofi - I can see that you've gone home for Christmas and NY as well - enjoy!
Angelika - thank you for your kind words about the picture, and for your frequent visits to my blog:)
Shauna - I knew I wasn't the only one:) Happy New Year to you, too!
Zoubida - thanks, and a happy new year to you and your family as well.
Kat & Satoshi - happy new year! I guess I'm still relying too much on other recipes, but I'm getting better in adjusting them to my taste. I'm glad you find them interesting!
Maya - welcome to my blog, and I'm glad you've found it interesting! I don't have so many readers in France (hi, Michèle and Vasso!), so I'm glad there is now another one:)
J - I'll try to write about my trip asap, but first I need to unpack my bags full of food (I only got back to Edinburgh late last night).
Spinning Girl - kaunist uut aastat Sullegi!
Cindy, thanks and a very happy 2006 to you!
Rorie, thanks. The cookies were nice, but you can only eat - and bake - so many Christmas cookies. I'm glad I don't have to do it again for another 11+ months:)
Michèle - saunas are divine. I got to go much less this year than I hoped, but that was because I got home too late too often.. But the few times I did get home early enough, it was a total and absolute bliss!
Happy new year, Pille (you look so sweet in there...), thank you again for sharing all the wonderful experiences with us, I look forward to hearing more about your adventures :)
Thanks, Keiko! I will write more about my winter holiday soon - but as I'm starting a new job tomorrow, it'll be a few days...
