I just discovered it today looking for Georgian recipes, never expecting to find the answer to my next search, "foodie things to do in Scotland", in the very same page!! I'll be taking my Young Man to explore his Scottish roots next year, but don't want to suffer the same rotten OOH food I have on previous visits back (the lunch I had at the People's Palace a few years back being a very notable exception).

I'll add nami-nami to my blog roll and be sure to visit often. Keep up the great work!Saffronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13649599133814559211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13695947.post-1130168091667400552005-10-24T18:34:00.000+03:002005-10-24T18:34:00.000+03:00Great list Pille! Sphinx - I've ticked off about 1/3, which isn't too bad. But as I am entertaining thoughts about moving back home, I should probably start working on the last 2/3 sooner rather than later:) A weekend at The Witchery - lucky you!!! As I said, I've had dinner there once, but I've seen pictures of the rooms and I'd REALLY like to spend some time at the hotel as well...

Everydaychef - another secret reader in Edinburgh! Welcome! You're right - the list has quite adventurous items listed that I'd like to try. Thou celebrating bagging all the Munros with a glass of bubbly probably remains just a dream...

K - Scotland (well, at least Edinburgh) is a fantastic place to live in - I recommend it highly. It's beautiful, friendly, peaceful and exciting place! Even the weather isn't so bad - compared to Estonia the winters here are nothing;)Pillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05817049547134774699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13695947.post-1129524716672858902005-10-17T07:51:00.000+03:002005-10-17T07:51:00.000+03:00Hi Pille - thanks for the great list!
