Wild strawberries, 2010

  1. ah, I miss wild strawberries! i was going to plant some (which seems like a contradiction in terms, but it does bring me a bit closer to the ideal) this year, but the move got in the way. i doubt that SE asia offers anything by way of forest fruit, but maybe i am wrong... and maybe, i'll be trying your recipe with fresh goji or acai berries ;-))

  2. I was in Estonia this time in 2008, and this post reminds me of the fabulous local strawberries I bought from an outdoor market in Tartu--they were the most amazingly fresh and sweet strawberries I have ever eaten! :)

  4. Johanna - well, you'll eat yourself full of various exotic fruit, you won't even remember there are wild strawberries somewhere (even if they are so much better than anything else ;))

Eala - I love Estonian local strawberries as well, but feel privileged to have such easy access to wild alternative!

Simply Life - yep, it's one special breakfast indeed :)
