Nami-Nami turns 5 today!

Baby-led weaning / Söömine on tähtis töö
This beautiful girl keeps me from blogging more often these days :)

My little foodblog, Nami-Nami, turns five today. It's been five fun years, and although I've been blogging less frequently during the last year or two (I've got a good reason, trust me - see above), I'm still enjoying it immensely and have no plans of stopping in the near future. Hope that you, my dear readers, will stick around as well :)

For those of you who have actually tried some of my recipes - would you mind naming your favourite one?

Here are links to some of the recipes that you've mentioned in the comments:
Canadian Apple Cake (November 2005)
Colorful quinoa salad with crayfish and avocado (February 2010)
Minimalist banana bread (May 2009)
Upside-down onion pie (January 2006)

  14. Your little girl is precious and I so understand about the not having time to blog because I have a four year old (adopted from Estonia)and she keeps me busy.
I have made a couple of your dishes and I love the Caraway Tea Cake. I have made it with the caraway seeds and without and we like it better with the seeds and I love it with the vanilla kefir.

  27. hello Pille,
Has it really been 5 years? Well I have enjoyed them as well, and some of your recipes too.

I think I have tried three excellent recipes on your blog (maybe more, tell me if I am wrong):

The salmon confit in olive oil : http://undimanche.blogspot.com/2009/12/des-travaux-un-polar-et-du-saumon.html

the toffee apple cake with cranberries: http://undimanche.blogspot.com/2007/01/cranberries-canneberges-ou-atocas.html

and the cranberries upside down cake: http://undimanche.blogspot.com/2006/03/le-gteau-de-nami-nami.html

that I have made sevrela times since then, a real classic at home now.

Happy blogbirthday and thanks for everything.

  32. Happy birthday nami-nami!

I loved these - filo tartlets with beetroot and three different types of cheese - when you made them for our cinematic adventures many years ago. I now make them all the time and people love them.

Your plum cake (again one from a post ages ago) is also a massive favourite. Made it loads!

  41. Happy BBB - belated blog birthday. Hard to choose an absolute favorite, because I can't be sure which ones I've used from the English-lang version, and many times the blog has just served as a reminder of things to try and explore (like fava beans), but I will repeat my praise of the sour-cherry marzipan torte I made I think late last summer.

  42. Happy Birthday! Congratulations! I like your blog a lot (since I discovered, I check it regularly). Take care, Nami-Nami
