Weekend herb blogging: coriander

Edinburgh, Southside, last week, early December 2005.
A view from my bedroom window circa 8am. Beautiful sunrise with a batch of overgrown rocket salad outside my window, that has bravely survived a few frosty nights.

I made a lovely Greek-inspired feta, rocket and tomato gratin a while ago.

oh, beautiful, Pille -- both the herb and the background! So, what do you usually make with your rocket?

Did you send your link to Kalyn?

Welcome to Weekend Herb Blogging. Really a great photo of the rocket.

That is definitely a healthy looking rocket Pille. So handy! I would normally go to the supermarket to get some greens for salads. You only have to hop on to the bedroom for yours.

Lovely photo capturing the sunrise.

Paz - I hadn't planned to participate at the Weekend Herb Blogging, but then I was looking at the beautiful sunrise through the rocket and decided to take the picture:)

Kalyn - it was my pleasure! I'm glad you like the picture.

Mae Gabriel - it has been a very sturdy rocket indeed. It was the first to come out of the compost after planting the seeds, it survived the unusually hot Edinburgh summer (and an absent-minded "gardener" who would only water the plant when it looked really limp) and even the first frosts!
