Puhvis Kukk - we looked for Kefir in St Louis in June 2008, and could only find it in a large "international shop" as well as Whole Foods. Nice to hear that it's become more widely available now. Re: kama? Well, I could say this recipe was more targeted to all those tens of people that have received a kama parcel from me ;)

Pille, kefir actually showed up in most grocery stores a few years ago (along with Greek yoghurt) but haven't seen kama anywhere....
