I've been baking my own naturally leavened (aka no-yeast) rye bread again, using just rye flour, and I'm very pleased with the results. I always make two large loafs - one plain (well, I do add caraway seeds and linseeds to the dough), the other flavoured. Last weekend I added some hazelnuts, dried cranberries and raisins to the mixture. Absolutely delicious!

Looks like you'll be needing to share the recipe. I've never thought of making a "quick bread" out of rye flour. Love the idea of the fruit and nut additions!

Your bread looks gorgeous, and I'm sure, tastes absolutely delicious! I have to remember your idea to add dried cranberries to the mixture, will try that! I've baked my bread only with mixed seeds and raisins so far.
This looks really good. I have never tried adding lots of nuts and fruit to rye based breads - I will have to try this once you share the recipe. I love rye bread.
